King Tsang - Student
Kwai Shing Lutheran Primary School
I am a mother of King. I am very grateful to Miss Anna's teaching team. It is a difficult task to improve my son's interest in English learning and his application of these skills because he is a keen student already. Thank you Miss Anna for helping him with different methods and courses. Before when I was at home, I did not hear King reading English texts. Since he attended this English class, I can hear King reading English at home. I am very happy about this. At the beginning, King didn’t want to participate, and his learning attitude was serious. Thanks to Miss Anna’s encouragement and opportunities, he's now much better than before. There are many English courses out there, but I’m so glad I chose this teaching team.

Why do Asian students struggle to master English?
One of the main reasons why Asian students struggle to improve their English is actually lack of confidence. At school, the expectation for excellent performance is very high, which means that only the most exceptional students ever get praised or encouraged by the teachers. This leaves the majority of the students lacking confidence in their English abilities and feeling discouraged about further studies in the language. This negative association students have for English greatly hampers their progress.
When it comes to speaking and listening, students are given insufficient opportunities to practise in the classroom. Teachers are also not very experienced with specialised techniques for teaching speaking and listening skills. Actual conversations with real native speakers are very hard to come by, and even when they do occur, most students lack the confidence to make the most of the opportunity.
This lack of confidence in their own English abilities, as well as ability to improve, creates a vicious cycle that actively prevents students from improving. At iSpeakPerfect, we aim to break this cycle with our combination of engaging & relevant content, active praises/encouragements and specialised English teaching techniques.
How can Speak3 help?
iSpeakPerfect is our flagship product introduced in 2018. Here at iSpeakPerfect, we pride ourselves on the quality of our education. Our main focus is to help you speak confidently and fluently by helping you master the four key areas of effective oral communication: Accuracy, Fluency, Appropriateness, and Coherence.
All of our lessons and teaching materials have been designed with this goal in mind, and by studying with us, you will soon find yourself able to express your ideas and opinions in any given situation confidently, accurately, fluently, appropriately and coherently. We firmly believe that by offering students engaging, relevant content, and by showing an interest in their personal progress, we can pave the way for their future in an increasingly globalised world.
With a background in Education, we are very familiar with educational standards and requirements around the world, including that of the HKDSE (The Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Learning), Cambridge Assessment English and many more. All of our teachings also incorporate leading-edge theories on EFL (English as a Foreign Language) learning, particularly theories on the integrated-skills approach to learning. According to these studies, such an approach is the most effective way for students to learn and can help tremendously with improving a student’s understanding and ability to communicate naturally.
Reading with Personal Corrective
Feedback
After an initial assessment, you will be assigned a Language Coach and to a specific language level. Five times a week, you may record yourself reading the passage and submit it via the iSpeakPerfect platform. Your assigned Language Coach will review your recordings and return with focused, individual feedback on your pronunciation (both written and audio/video). Please see course fees for more details.
